WINDOW TO THE LOFOTEN WALL
Moskenes Camping is the only campsite in Lofoten where you can see the entire Lofoten Wall – a spectacular and magnificent sight.
The Lofoten Wall is the name given to the row of mountains that make up Lofoten, which look like a wall when viewed from a distance. From Moskenes Camping you can see, among others, the mountain Vågakallen and the distinctive Ureberget.
From Moskenes Camping you also have a fantastic view over Vestfjorden, whether it’s mirror-calm in the still sunlight, or raging in a gale you might rarely experience during summer. For many, catching sight of whales or passing orcas up close is a fascinating sight.

ACTIVITIES
With Moskenes Camping as your base, you can experience Flakstad and Moskenes up close. A range of museums and activities let you fill every day of your stay with healthy and interesting experiences.

The Stockfish Museum at Å
The museum shows you the history of stockfish through exhibitions and film screenings. Guided tours are also available in several languages.

The Norwegian Telecom Museum
Why did Lofoten become so important to Norwegian and European telecom history? Find out how the German Kaiser, in the early 1900s, played a key role in developing one of Europe’s first wireless telegraphs.

Dagmar's Doll Museum
At Dagmar's you'll find hundreds of dolls from every era. Large rooms full of dolls, doll clothing, doll furniture and other accessories.

Organised fishing trips
What could be more exciting than heading out to sea, casting your line, and reeling in a big, beautiful fish to cook right afterwards? Nothing! It doesn't get better than that.

The Blacksmith in Sund
At the forge in Sund you can watch the blacksmith forge the famous Kongeskarven and other sculptures. Works from here can be found all over the world, and many European royal houses own art from this small forge in Flakstad.

The Glass Cabin at Vikten
Four kilometres from the junction at Vareid you'll find craftsmanship in recycled glass of various colours, set with quartz from the Lofoten mountains.

Trips to the villages inside Reinefjorden
Today, Lofoten has far fewer villages than just 100 years ago. Inside Reinefjorden there are several examples of how modern times have caught up with Lofoten, and not every village has survived. The villages are nevertheless very much alive in summer, and are frequently visited.

A range of hikes along marked trails
Lofoten's magnificent mountains draw many out on hikes, and here in the west you'll find a number of marked trails. Following these trails can give you a hike you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Experience the LOFOTR Viking Museum
at Borg
70 km east of Moskenes Camping you can experience the Viking Age in a living environment. Smell the tar and the bonfire. Taste the food, hear the stories. The Vikings have been waiting for you for more than 1000 years.
